Port Protek

The Port Protek IVC Cleaner thoroughly sterilizes access ports at the terminal ends of intravenous catheter lines. This device is in the form of a small, plastic cap that fastens to the access port, creating an air-tight seal of the catheter. A pair of caps will be utilized in the sterilization of the Port IVC: the first cap contains a strong antiseptic solution effective at killing bacteria present on the port and will remain affixed to the IVC when it is not in use, while the second cap will contain a less-potent antiseptic solution to eliminate any potential negative effective the antiseptic could have on the patient. The second cap will clean the port immediately preceding use of the intravenous catheter.

Hyprotek Mixing / Administration Syringe

The Hyprotek Mixing / Administration Syringe allows the mixing and administration of medications in a completely closed and sterile system, thus markedly reducing the risk of contamination for the patient. Using a modified 50cc syringe design, the device comes packaged with a single dose of a specific drug, the correct volume of diluent, and a penetrator to puncture the sealed drug enabling the mixing of the drug in solution.
